Reunion

The reunion is coming quickly. Looking forward to seeing everyone on Saturday. So far the weather has been nice so we will still plan on having the reunion at the Clyde Keefer Memorial Park. We'll meet at the park after the parade in St. Anthony. If it should rain Saturday we will move to the new high school in St. Anthony.

If you didn't get your RSVP in before the deadline, bring your own picnic and come and visit. We should be at the park until 5:00 p.m.

If anyone has any questions, get a hold of Todd. His cell phone is (208) 390-2597.

Twenty five years sure goes fast. I started working at the Ricks College Bookstore just before graduation. Amazingly I am still there. Now it is the BYU-I University Store. It is fun to see some of you as you bring your kids to college. My husband Darwin and I live on a dairy farm in Wilford. We have six children, Jessica-23, Angelica-21(serving a LDS mission in West Virginia) , Josh-18(leaves for LDS mission to Missouri in October), Rebecca-15, Caleb-12, and Marissa-7. Hope to see some of you at the reunion.

The Food is Ordered

We ordered the food for the picnic today. If you weren't able to RSVP before today don't let that stop you from dropping by the park on July 25 to visit with classmates and their families. We'd still love to see everyone, just bring your own picnic and stop by and visit for a while. We should be there until 5:00 p.m.

We've received a lot of RSVPS the past couple of days, still looking for more. We'll just update the RSVPS on the sidebar so keep checking back to see who will be attending. Thanks for your help. If you have any questions, let us know. Those that will be attending, don't forget to bring an item to auction off to help raise money for the next Class of 1984 Reunion.

Todd Davison

Wow, we’re getting old, 25 years. I married Colette Bagley from Rexburg in 1989 and we celebrated our 20th Anniversary this May. Who would have thought that I would be residing in Rexburg for the past 20 years. Other than the years I was in the Air Force in New Mexico that is pretty much where I’ve been.

Colette and I purchased our house in 1991 and, not only have I lived in Rexburg for the past 20 years, but right on Main Street for the past 17 years. You remember Main Street from the good old “dragging Main” days. Thankfully kids don’t do that as much now as we did.

Both of us work for the City of Rexburg. I work with the Sanitation Department and Colette works with the Police Department. We have three children: Brodie who is 16, Jayce who is 13, and Harleigh who is 7, so basically we have three teenagers because Harleigh definitely thinks that she is one. I’ve been helping with the Madison Squadron of the Civil Air Patrol for kids between the ages of 12 to 20 for the past four years. Both of my boys are in the squadron so it is something that we have enjoyed doing together. Actually living in Rexburg isn’t too bad, we’re close to family and do spend a lot of time with both of our families.

I’m looking forward to seeing everyone at the Class Reunion. Drop me an e-mail at airforce462x0@myway.com. Also, we have a family blog, as you can see on the side, but it is private so drop me an e-mail and I’ll have Colette send you an invite to the blog.

Dear Class of 1984:

I haven’t been to a class reunion since our five year which was held at the St. Anthony golf course. It will be very interesting to see everyone who attends and I suppose that 25 years will bring many of us together.

After graduation I worked in Las Vegas for three months and then did construction in Rexburg until leaving on an LDS mission to Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama in July of 1985. Eighteen days after returning home in 1987, I met CarolLynn Galbraith from Sugar City (Class of 1986) and six months later we were married. We now have a family of eight children, three boys and five girls, and have been married twenty-one years. I graduated with an MBA from Idaho State University, and CarolLynn has her teaching degree from BYU-Provo. We have lived in the Boise valley (Meridian) for the past six and a half years. I’ve been fortunate to stay employed with Roche/Genentech BioOncology for the past thirteen years selling various prescription drugs; currently I travel throughout Idaho and Montana selling a breast and colon cancer drug to oncologists.

I will spare you the details of ages, names, hobbies, sports and travels that involve our kids and family, perhaps this will be the source of conversation when I run out of stupid questions. I look forward to seeing everyone especially those whom I would never recognize if they weren’t attending the reunion.

See you there,

Sheldon and CarolLynn Larson

Prizes

Haven't decided what they'll be but I think Devin Birch and Sheldon Larson deserve a prize. Devin was the first to send in his RSVP and Sheldon was the first to send in an update about what he has been up to for the past 25 years.

Don't Forget!

Don't forget to get your RSVP in as soon as you can. The last day that we can order food is July 15, 2009, so we will need everyone to RSVP before then. THANKS!!

The post below will change when we receive everyone's RSVP so you can check back to see who will be able to attend.

25 Year Reunion ~ Simplified

We've decided to simplify! We've been having a difficult time finding a place for dinner on Friday night that doesn't cost a lot to reserve, or a distance away, so we're going to forgo Friday night dinner and just have a family barbecue Saturday, following the St. Anthony parade. This way classmates can participate in the St. Anthony Pioneer Day festivities, spend time with their families, or get together with classmates and go to dinner on their own. Here is the new plan:

~
Classmates and Family Picnic in the Park
Saturday, July 25, 2009
12:00 - 5:00, immediately following the parade
Clyde Keefer Memorial Park
Bridge Street, St. Anthony, Idaho
~
Invitations will be mailed this week. If you have any addresses on classmates that can help, please let Todd Davison know. THANKS FOR YOUR HELP!!

25 Year Reunion

Classmates we need your help. We are trying to plan our 25 Year Reunion. The times and locations are pending, but the plan for now is:

~
Picnic in Park for Classmates and their family
after the St. Anthony 24th of July parade

~
We are trying to get the word out and also gather information on classmates so that an invitation can go out in the mail this weekend, June 7, 2009.
If you have any classmate addresses, ideas, or information that can help please contact Todd Davison by e-mail: airforce462x0@myway.com, home phone number (208) 356-6357, or cell phone (208) 390-2597. You can also leave a comment on the blog.
Also, if you have any photographs of our High School days or past reunions could you e-mail them to Todd.
Thanks for your help. More information will be posted soon.
